Camden Market

Camden Lock Place, Camden

My favourite place for vegan eating in London is without a doubt Camden Market - not just for the fact that there is so much vegan food within close proximity, but also because of it's location on the canal. After a meal (or five) you can just point yourself towards Kings Cross or Regents Park for a wander on the towpath with a side of views and canal boat spotting.

But back to the food. Reigning vegan supreme at Camden Kerb is Club Mexicana with tofish tacos and bbq jackfruit burritos. They also do cheesy nachos in case those weren't enough. For all vegan (and gluten free) desserts Cookies and Scream in side the market hall has you covered with ice cream sandwiches, donuts and hella obscene brownies. V Burger is a newbie and much welcomed all vegan burger bar at Camden Market. The burgers are hearty and come with the option of adding onion rings, sweet potato fries or a sneaky brownie for dessert.

There's plenty more to choose from with many vendors having at least one vegan option on their menu including my faves Maize BlazeMakatcha's chickpea rendang and Chin Chin Labs' hot chocolate and ever changing/never disappointing vegan dessert specials.

PS Just down the road in the North Yard you can find even more vegan friendly yums including crepespizza slices and cereal

A very pink exterior marks the spot of this all vegetarian South Indian restaurant. All dishes are tasty and a large portion of them vegan.
